After breakfast transfer to Anuradhapura. In the late afternoon visit the ancient city of Anuradhapura. Dinner & overnight stay in Anuradhapura.
After breakfast transfer to Trincomalee. En route visit Mihintale. Dinner & overnight stay in Trincomalee.
Day 4 and 5
At leisure on the beach or time to explore Trincomalee. Dinner and overnight stay in Trincomalee.
After breakfast transfer to Habarana. En route visit the ancient city of Polonnaruwa by bicycle. Late afternoon optional excursion to Minneriya national park in a four wheel drive jeep, on completion return to the hotel in Habarana. Dinner and overnight stay in Habarana.
After breakfast visit the famous Lion’s Rock Fortress in Sigiriya and on completion your driver guide will take you on a village tour, where you visit a local family in a rural Sri Lankan village, still untouched by modernization. Dinner and overnight stay in Habarana.
After breakfast transfer to Kandy. En route visit the Golden Rock Cave Temple of Dambulla, thereafter proceed to Kandy. Dinner and overnight stay in Kandy.
After breakfast visit the Pinnawela elephants orphanage, thereafter return to Kandy for a Kandy city tour with visits to the Royal Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya, shopping center of Kandy and the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic - Sri Dalada Maligawa. Dinner and overnight stay in Kandy.
After breakfast tranfer to Nuwara Eliya. En route visit a tea factory and estate where you will be able to take a glimpse in to the tea making process and even purchase some world renowned Ceylon tea. Afternoon time to explore the city of Nuwara Eliya. Dinner and overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.
Early morning optional excursion to Horton Plains (incl. breakfast package) or after breakfast time to explore Nuwara Eliya. Late afternoon transfer by train to Ella - one of the most picturesque train rides in the world. Your driver guide brings you to Nanu Oya railway station and will pick you up from the Ella railway station and will drive you to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Ella.
After breakfast transfer to Kataragama / Tissamaharama. En route visits to Rawana water falls in Ella and the Buddha wall carving statues of Buduruwagala near Welawaya, thereafter hotel check. In the late afternoon jeep safari in the Yala National Park. Dinner and overnight in Katharagama or Tissamaharama.
After breakfast transfer to Beach stay resort. En route visit the Dutch forts in Matale and Galle. Dinner and Overnight stay in Beach stay resort.
After breakfast at leisure on the beach or free for optional excursions. Dinner & overnight stay in Beach stay resort.
