Highlights of Ceylon
Day 1
Welcome on arrival at the airport. Transfer to the hotel in Colombo. In the afternoon Colombo city tour. Dinner and overnight stay in Colombo at Galadari Hotel.
Day 2
After breakfast transfer to Anuradhapura. Late afternoon visit to Mihintale. Dinner and overnight stay in Anuradhapura at Palm Garden Village Hotel.
Day 3
After breakfast transfer to Dambulla. En route visit the Anuradhapura ancient city highlights. Check in to the hotel in Dambulla. Afternoon visit to Dambulla Cave Temple. Dinner and overnight stay in Dambulla at Amaya Lake Hotel.
Day 4
After breakfast transfer to Kandy. En route climb the Sigiriya rock fortress. Thereafter proceed to Kandy. En route visit a spice garden in Matale. Check in to the hotel in Kandy. Visit the evening ceremony at the Temple of Tooth Relic and a cultural dance show. Late dinner and overnight stay in Kandy at Amaya Hills Hotel or Randholee Resort and Spa.
Day 5
After breakfast transfer to Nuwara Eliya. En route visit to a tea factory and plantation. Check in to the hotel in Nuwara Eliya. Afternoon visit the Nuwara Eliya city. Dinner and overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya at the Grand Hotel.
Day 6
After breakfast transfer to Kataragama. En route visit Rawana water falls. Check in to the hotel in Kataragama. Evening visit to the Kataragama temple.
Dinner and overnight stay in Kataragama at Rosen Renaissance Hotel.
Day 7
Early morning jeep safari in Yala National Park. After breakfast transfer to selected beach hotel or hotel in Colombo for next day departure
En route visit the Galle city, turtle farm and stilt fishermen. Dinner and overnight stay in Colombo at Galadari Hotel.
Day 8
After breakfast transfer to airport (45 minutes drive) for departure flight.
This tour includes:
- Accommodation on half board basis;
